Many children cheat at the school and many other situations. Some children do so because they do not know the right from the wrong. However, People who care for kids can encourage honorable behavior by presenting a model for honesty and applying consequences when appropriate.
We always want our children to trust us and to be honest with us, so we should always remain calm and we should not respond angrily since coping with cheating requires a clear head and an understanding tone.
If we want our children to be aware that cheating is all about lying, sneaking and stealing, we should stress the consequences of such behavior.
Cheating is really harmful to your child, note that cheating might keep your child from learning and might promote low self-esteem. It can also lead to serious outcomes as an adult. So always be aware of that!
